Parigi, quartiere latino, turisti in fila per mangiare il gelato italiano di Amorino. Simpaticamente un gruppo inglese, mi ha salutata e detto che per loro, non esiste un gelato più buono di quello made in Italy. Mi sono documentata e dal "Gambero Rosso", ecco la storia di questo successo mondiale. Nel 2002 due amici italiani aprono una gelateria a Parigi. Dopo 12 anni i punti vendita sono diventati 105 in 13 Paesi nel mondo. E altri stanno ancora aprendo. Ecco la storia di Cristiano Sereni e Paolo Benassi, e di Amorino gelato al naturale. Due giovani italiani fanno fortuna all'estero grazie a uno dei prodotti che tutto il mondo associa al Bel Paese: il gelato. Dopo il successo, però, non si scordano delle loro radici e decidono di investire anche in Italia. Parliamo di Cristiano Sereni e Paolo Benassi, e della loro creatura: Amorino gelato al naturale. Fondata nel 2002 a Parigi, arrivata in Italia, a Milano e a Verona, solo nel 2010. Oggi conta 105 locali in ben 13 paesi, sia in Europa che negli Stati Uniti, Malta, Marocco. Ecco cosa ci ha raccontato Paolo, che anticipa l'imminente apertura in Arabia Saudita e la volontà di conquistare altre città italiane, a partire da Roma e Firenze. Perché avete deciso di cominciare a Parigi? Parigi è un'importante vetrina, è piena di turisti ed è multietnica. Tra l'altro il mio amico e socio Cristiano abita lì da anni e fin da subito si è reso conto che le gelaterie italiane a Parigi scarseggiavano. Questa ci è parsa una vera opportunità di business, legata al fatto che io volevo vivere per un periodo all'estero. Nel 2010 siete arrivati anche in Italia, aprendo prima a Milano Brera, poi sui Navigli e a Verona. La nostra vocazione era prima di tutto internazionale, tanto che la nostra equipe conta venti nazionalità diverse, ma essendo italiani ci è sembrato giusto aprire dei punti vendita anche in Madrepatria.
