Il Fringuello alpino (Montifrigilla nivalis – Fam. Passeridae) vive in alta montagna nutrendosi in estate di insetti ed in inverno di semi di piante e, in caso di nevicate che non gli permettano di trovarli, si sposta a valle. Costruisce il suo nido su pareti rocciose e sotto mucchi di sassi, ma anche sui rifugi di montagna o sui pali delle funivie. Lo scatto è stato effettuato sulle Dolomiti ad una quota di circa 2.300 m. slm nel mese di Luglio 2017. Leggero crop. Un ringraziamento particolare all'amico Fernando che mi ha aiutato nell'identificazione dell'uccello.
