Una delle attrazioni più moderne, particolari e spettacolari di Nizza è sicuramente la Tete Carrè, grandioso esempio di arte moderna realizzata nel 2002 da Shasa Sosno, conosciuto artista francese. E' una scultura dalle dimensioni davvero notevoli con i suoi quasi 30 metti di altezza, e quello che colpisce è che essa è la sede della Biblioteca Louis Nucera, la principale della città. La Tete Carrè detiene anche un primato, in quanto si tratta della prima scultura al mondo all'interno della quale è prevista la presenza umana. Costruita secondo delle tecniche navali, è la prima costruzione interamente realizzata in alluminio, che le conferisce un aspetto estremamente moderno e di architettura industriale. Posta proprio nel bel mezzo della città, è immediatamente riconoscibile grazie alla sua forma che riproduce una testa umana stilizzata con fattezze quadrate.
