Nel 1959, durante la realizzazione dell'autostrada Napoli-Salenro, venne alla luce un edificio pompeiano con sale sontuosamente affrescate. La costruzione era nei pressi dell'antico porto, alla foce del fiume Sarno allora navigabile. Quest'affresco rappresenta una delle muse della prima sala, divinità ispiratrici del canto. Io la trovo affascinante. L'antico edificio fu rinterrato sotto l'autostrada e tutti gli affreschi si trovano in esposizione permanente nella Palestra Grande.
