Le porte provengono dal Castello di Moncalieri e giunsero nel Palazzo Reale per volontà del Principe Umberto. Alle pareti arazzi della manifattura francese di Beauvais dalla serie delle Usanze Cinesi, su bozzetto di François Boucher e cartoni di Jean Joseph Dumont, opera dei maestri arazzieri Nicolas Besnier e Jean Baptiste Oudry tra il 1748 e il 1750. Acquistati da Filippo di Borbone, provengono dalla Reggia di Colorno presso Parma.
