L'isola delle correnti è una piccolissima isola sulla costa ionica e rappresenta l'estremità meridionale della Sicilia, fa parte del comune di Portopalo ed è collegata alla terra ferma da un braccio artificiale, ormai distrutto dalle onde del mare. Dal 1987 è stata inclusa nel piano regolatore dei parchi e riserve naturali, per la presenza di vegetazione costiera. - Commenti e critiche sempre graditi
