Il palazzo Bellevue (o castello di Bellevue in tedesco Schloss Bellevue) è la residenza ufficiale del presidente della Repubblica Federale Tedesca a Berlino. Il nome deriva dal panorama che si gode sul fiume Sprea. Il palazzo venne terminato nel 1786 per il fratello minore di Federico II di Prussia, su progetto dell'architetto Philipp Daniel Boumann, come residenza estiva. Il progetto incluse anche parti di un edificio preesistente. È il primo edificio in stile neoclassico costruito in Germania ed è composto da una struttura centrale con 19 ordini di finestre, con due ali laterali denominate rispettivamente: Damenflügel (ala delle signore) e Spreeflügel (ala della Sprea). Il corpo centrale del castello presenta sulla facciata delle colonne in stile corinzio. Gravemente danneggiato durante l'ultima guerra, il castello è stato oggetto di un accurato restauro che lo ha riportato allo splendore originario. Il palazzo venne utilizzato prima come residenza estiva da parte del principe Ferdinando, fino alla morte avvenuta nel 1813. Successivamente, venne usato dal figlio, fino a quando nel 1844 l'edificio venne rilevato da Federico Guglielmo IV di Prussia, che in un'ala del castello inaugurò una mostra permanente di quadri. Durante la prima guerra mondiale, il castello fu usato dal comando militare. Dal 1935 in poi, invece, venne trasformato in un museo etnografico. Nel 1938 venne nuovamente modificato, su progetto dell'architetto Paul Baumgarten, per diventare un albergo per gli ospiti del regime nazista. Gravemente danneggiato da una bomba incendiaria nel 1941, dopo la fine della guerra venne sottoposto ad un attento restauro, al fine di diventare la seconda sede ufficiale del presidente della Repubblica Federale Tedesca.
