Un altro soggetto che amo particolarmente ed a cui ho dedicato veramente molte notti qui, fra le mie montagne.- Nulla di fotograficamente particolare in questa immagine, se non questo specifico soggetto che mi ha regalato un momento veramente intenso (anche se l'immagine è stata realizzata in un'altra giornata); era la terza notte consecutiva che salivo a vederlo e poi riscendevo ed andavo al lavoro.- Alle tre e mezza avevo montato il capanno; ci sono entrato e quasi immediatamente mi sono addormentato al suo interno; prima ed unica volta che ciò mi è accaduto.- Verso le quattro e mezza uno “strano suono” mi ha svegliato; un suono che nel dormiveglia non riuscivo bene a codificare, ma poi l'adrenalina si è scatenata; era lui! Era lui che cantava; ed era vicinissimo . . . . . con gesti lentissimi ho spostato leggermente il telo mimetico ed il gallo era lì, che stava cantando a pochi centimetri dalle mie dita; mi sarebbe bastato allungarle ed avrei potuto toccarlo . . . . . un'emozione indescrivibile; intensa; indimenticabile . . . . .
