Vespa pompilide che ha punto il Ragno sedandolo con il suo veleno. Completamente paralizzato il Ragno viene trascinato in un buco dove il pompilide ha fatto un nido, qui gli depone nell'addome un unico uovo e poi esce dal buco tappando accuratamente l'entrata. Quando la larva di pompilide uscirà dall'uovo potrà nutrirsi dall'interno del corpo del Ragno rimasto sempre sedato, ma vivo!
