I do not appreciate the social-culture of "like", so if you want to leave your impression this will be much appreciated. Thanks

Find me absolutely agree. The photo is impressive and very beautiful. The thick black line on the horizon line coming from? post production, or it was just so by click. Note: To have a more complete observation would be necessary to tell, even in the caption, the methods of capture and the reasons that led you to do so. Otherwise I like the hated socialcultura prevails. (Lately I am the bearer of ill projects ). Of course, friendliness and a greeting. I scored the like, forgive me ... :-D

Ciao
Max

@ Paul ... probably you are right, but I instinctively like to talk more pictures. However, I will strive for a little more, I promise. :-D
I "like" does not offend me, but I prefer to know the feelings of observers on my photos.
On the line I have to watch the original that I have here with me, I'll let you know, the shot is a little time ago and frankly I do not remember.

Ivan, I was in Genova Quarto, precisely where they started 1000 Garibaldi 8-)

Thanks for the comments vs

Ciao.Sorriso

but I instinctively like to talk more photographs

Max and I are not always in perfect harmony but in this case I completely agree, while appreciating the initiative of Franco very useful for educational purposes and trying myself to write in this area two lines of presentation of the shots are absolutely convinced that the photos should speak for themselves for me already the title would be too ;-)

Franco

Sorry Max, but I speak as a result of the words of Catherine and Paul Corona that I have brought up.
I tell you now that the photo is beautiful and well made but, honestly, this is not the kind that makes me jump out of his chair. Not volermene.
"A picture is worth 1000 words" has become a cliché and like all clichés of the original meaning, which is also often given a value, it becomes a closure and a handy way to simplify what is not simple. The title, caption, the author's words can be absolutely useless or, conversely, illuminating. It depends on many things but difficult to categorize, in some way, related to the photographic genre, the poetic (if any) of the author, to his way of expressing himself through the language of photography. It is not the appropriate place, soI try to explain with a short example: call "sunset the Three Peaks" a sunset taken in that place adds little to what the viewer is able to feel alone. The title "the scream" to the famous painting by Munch, you will agree with me, that has much more weight in the overall message that strikes the observer. Point out that now I'm not giving value judgments and the example with the painting I did just for ease of understanding. I could have quoted photographers, but would have been less known.
A cordial greeting.
Franco

I find a beautiful picture, a genre that I hope to capture even I sooner or later
as well as the situation cultured with these fascinating but dangerous lightning I really like the shape of these clouds on the blue sea and sky congratulations!

@ Jeronim I am reminded of a certain M. Adamus, which seems to say that "the photograph is like a joke: if you have to explain is not coming well":-P

Complimenti!

I can say I have seen many pictures of lightning even though I have not made my will but I find this a step above the other as 3D in all respects.

Congratulations!

Franco

Not a fan of Adamus and I find the joke a cliché like those I mentioned above. Contemporary art is complex and almost always see a work does not lead to anything unless you have a minimum of preparation. Sure, Adamus does art and so for him the joke may have some value:-P.
All the best, with sympathy.
Franco
