Con questa gestione l'immagine non trasmette sensazioni di buio. Inoltre trovo la resa finale troppo "cartonata". Infine quello che mi trasmette questa foto é una ricerca esasperata della "forma", forse (e dico forse) a discapito del contenuto. for the background but I preferred it is legible and noise-free as possible to recreate the most of what I saw it live. I did tests with faint background (basically using some pictures just before they started swarming fireflies) and the "scene" just for them ... but did not give me the same impact, was a series of bright dots surrounded in a vacuum. live with eyes, since shaman around 9.30, the background is still visible and what you see are not in the pitch dark dots on a background light intermittence but perfectly recognizable. :-)

quello che posso dirti è che nei 15 giorni di sciamata ho fatto tantissime prove sullo sfondo proprio per decidere quale sarebbe stato il modo migliore per riprendere il tutto. dopo la prima sera avevo capito che per le lucciole il modo "giusto", data l'intermittenza, era un tempo relativamente breve (20-30 secondi) e una sensibilità altissima in modo da far venire ben definito il lampo di luce. per evitare di dover fondere più scatti e avere un bel numero di punti luminosi (come è stato alla fine) ho fatto prove a ISO più bassi e tempo di esposizione molto più lungo (il tempo massimo è stato ISO 400 e quasi 4 minuti: come quantità di punti bastava già questo scatto da solo ma i punti erano troppo "smorti" e quindi nada! fin qui il discorso lucciole
per lo sfondo invece ho preferito che fosse leggibile e il più possibile privo di rumore per ricreare al massimo quello che vedevo io dal vivo. ho fatto prove anche con sfondo appena percettibile (praticamente usando qualche scatto di poco prima che iniziassero a sciamare le lucciole) e con la "scena" tutta per loro...ma non mi dava lo stesso impatto, era una serie di puntini luminosi immersa nel vuoto. dal vivo, con gli occhi, dal momento che sciamano intorno alle 9.30, lo sfondo è ancora visibile e quello che vedi non sono puntini nel buio pesto ma un'intermittenza luminosa su uno sfondo perfettamente riconoscibile.
detto questo...è ovvio che è il primo esperimento più o meno riuscito, l'anno prossimo proverò sicuramente altre soluzioni e avere feedback di questo tipo non può che essere un'ottima spinta a migliorare |
