Residenza Sabauda per la caccia e le feste edificata a partire dal 1729 sulle preesistenti rovine di un castello medievale,e durata sino a fine XVIII secolo,su progetto di Filippo Juvarra. E' uno dei gioielli monumentali di Torino,in perfetta direttrice da piazza Castello,da cui si raggiunge nell'ultimo tratto per un grande viale alberato,fiancheggiato dalle antiche scuderie.Gli arredi interni e i dipinti sono originali(ma non possono essere fotografati) mentre la grande statua bronzea del cervo posta sulla sommità (opera di Francesco Ladatte) e' stata sostituita con una copia. L'originale si trova all'interno del Palazzo.
