Quello che vedete nella foto, è il pianoforte su cui Giuseppe Verdi compose l'opera “I due Foscari”. Si trova nella casa Museo di Antonio Barezzi a Busseto. Il Barezzi, titolare di un grande negozio di generi alimentari e liquori, era il più ricco cittadino della piccola cittadina in provincia di Parma, nonché grande animatore culturale e fondatore nell'agosto del 1813 dell' Orchestra Filarmonica Bussetana. Il salone di casa Bezzi, divenne ben presto il luogo delle prime esibizioni pubbliche del giovane Verdi, che frequentava la casa dall'età di dieci anni. Il Barezzi, unico e grande mecenate del genio verdiano, decise di ospitare in casa propria il Verdi dal 1831 e, sempre grazie al suo sostegno economico, il promettente Giuseppe poté recarsi a Milano nel 1832 per approfondire e perfezionare i suoi studi musicali con maestri del calibro di Vincenzo Lavigna. Sempre grazie all'intervento di Barezzi, il 5 marzo 1836 Verdi ottenne l'incarico di maestro di musica del comune di Busseto nonché la carica di organista presso la parrocchia, il primo incarico stabile del giovane maestro. Dopo tre anni Verdi lascerà questo posto, ancora una volta sostenuto da Barezzi, per recarsi stabilmente a Milano. Nel 1836 Verdi sposò Margherita, figlia di Barezzi, e da questa unione nacquero Virginia ed Icilio. Le morti premature per malattia sia dei due figli che della moglie, avvenute tra il 1839 ed il 1840 gettarono Verdi nella più cupa disperazione. Solo grazie all'aiuto del Barezzi, che gli fu sempre vicino, e dell'impresario della Scala Bartolomeo Merelli il compositore si riavvicinò a quella musica operistica nella quale era destinato a diventare una pietra miliare. Avviato ormai alla via del successo, Verdi volle con sé Barezzi alle prime del Macbeth (Firenze, 12 marzo 1847) e della Luisa Miller (Napoli, 8 dicembre 1849). Come dimostrazione di eterna riconoscenza, Verdi dedicherà proprio a Barezzi lo spartito del Macbeth. Antonio Barezzi morì nella sua casa di Busseto nel 1867. Dal 2001 la storica Casa Barezzi, è sede di un museo di cimeli verdiani. Critiche e commenti sempre super graditi. Grazie.
