Il focus stacking si può realizzare in due modi.
Il primo: uso una slitta micro mentrica e sposto la lente non toccando mai la messa a fuoco fino a realizzare vari scatti spazzolando il soggetto dal punto più lontano alla lente fino al punto più vicino. Unisco poi gli scatti ottenuti a PC usando nel mio caso Zerene. Il TIFF definitivo uscito da Zerene posso post produrlo come scatto unico in PS.
Il secondo: mantengo la lente sul cavalletto ferma e ruoto la ghiera di messa a fuoco spazzolando anche qui il soggetto dal punto più lontano al punto più vicino alla lente. Unisco poi gli scatti ottenuti a PC usando nel mio caso Zerene. Il TIFF definitivo uscito da Zerene posso post produrlo come scatto unico in PS.
Nel primo caso muovo la lente e tengo ferma la messa a fuoco, nel secondo tengo ferma la lente e ruoto la ghiera spostando il fuoco.
Il primo caso è ovviamente il migliore e il più preciso è però molto lento da eseguire e se solo ho del vento va a farsi benedire. Il secondo è molto più complicato e necessita di prove sul campo per ottenere una buona dimestichezza. Con questo metodo però si riduce molto il tempo in cui eseguo i vari scatti e quindi, quando il vento dà una tregua, realizzo la serie velocemente.
In ambo i casi è poi il software Zerene che in automatico allinea gli scatti e li fonde.
Peccato che per questo scatto mi abbia creato, per il forte vento, molti artefatti che ho dovuto eliminare andando a prelevare parti di immagine manualmente con delle maschere di livello dedicate. Un lavoro per intenderci da certosino che però paga soprattutto per il godimento delle varie goccioline tutte a fuoco su tutta la tela, oltre che per i dettagli del ragno stesso.
L'apertura F/8 mi ha permesso inoltre di ammorbidire lo sfondo che è naturale e sfrutta due fiori di campo posti in diagonale dietro la tela stessa.
