Il Castello di Erasmo si trova a Predjama a soli 10 km dalle grotte di Postumia. Considerato inespugnabile essendo situato al riparo di una grotta carsica su una parete di roccia alta 123 metri, era il rifugio del cavaliere Erasmo; all'interno (aperto al pubblico), si possono vedere la zona abitativa, la cappella, le prigioni, ricostruzioni di personaggi dell'epoca, mobilio ed opere d'arte con una pietà del 1420. L'aspetto attuale del castello è dovuto alle edificazioni effettuate dai Gallemberg e dai Kobenzl successivamente al periodo di Erasmo. L'edificio, direttamente adiacente al fianco della montagna, dà accesso ad una cavità con un'apertura con panorama sui dintorni. Il castello nasconde l'ingresso ad un vasto sistema di grotte carsiche, che si snoda nel sottosuolo su più livelli, ed al cui interno si trova anche la tana di Erasmo. Ogni mese di luglio si tiene la giostra di Erasmo dove avvengono vari tornei e dove villaggio ed abitanti si travestono con abiti medioevali.
