, 1/2500 f/8.0, ISO 640, tripod. Specie: Athene noctua

I would like to break a lance in favor of the photographer, whom I know personally, because I do not think he used bait, not to mention that the owls 'here' hunt, and bring the prey without problems to the nest, so I see the problem. The main thing with the owls is a booth that must be fixed and well integrated with the environment ;-)

There 'is need to break :-D spears, the picture is beautiful, he also hope l' EP, I assumed the bait only to the comment by Antonio Ronchini, detract from the skill of Edward, glaring by its quality galleries :-)

Hello everyone, sorry if I answer late. However in the beginning thank you all for the welcome step and nice comments you left me :-P. As for the prey Owl portrayed, I explain it all at once: the young owl prey received by the adult, who has led the mice to the nest (a cairn). Subsequently, the young owl came to roost (placed by me) for a moment and then move to another point to eat. The roost has been popular with 2 young brood this year, which were very active day before fledging.

I hope I was clear ;-), qualsuasi for more clarification just ask.

A greeting,
Edoardo
