Hanno tutti passato le ottanta primavere, qualcuno vive solo, qualcun altro ha la fortuna di avere ancora il compagno o la compagna di una vita...gli anni sono passati, figli, nipoti, ognuno ha la sua vita. E loro si ritrovano tutti i pomeriggi al parco sotto casa, giocano a carte, chiacchierano, qualche volta si devono difendere dal "pallone selvaggio" di alcuni ragazzini, ma si fanno compagnia e vivono il loro tempo serenamente. Tutte le volte che vado a Senigallia, mi fermo un po' con loro, mi chiamano: "la signora del gelato", perché spesso lo porto anche a loro e lo mangiamo insieme... Per farli sentire vivi, chiedo a qualche vecchietta, lumi sulle loro fantastiche ricette marchigiane. Con i signori uomini, invece parliamo di macchine e di motori, fra loro ce n'è uno che per 40 anni ha guidato pullman di linee, e mi racconta annedoti simpaticissimi. E' diventata una simpatica consuetudine, passare un po' di tempo al parco. In fondo basta poco a farli felici, e, ad esser sinceri, sono felice anch'io, perché mi sento quasi protetta dalla loro saggezza e dalle loro attenzioni. Critiche e commenti sempre super graditi.
