Two eyes full of light sent on July 08, 2016 (11:49) by Annamaria Pertosa. 89 comments, 4288 views.

at 55mm, 1/60 f/5.6, ISO 400, hand held. Assuan, Egypt.

Critiche e commenti sempre super graditi. Grazie.

Hello Anna,
nice document and excellent definition. The very didactic caption, but to live well were only the Pharaohs or whoever they are. Come on, we visit we are surprised of the "Wonderland" and we do not ask how many poor people died for a Pyramid cabbage. I would have preferred an Egypt without pyramids, the Sphinx without without sarcophagi and see a people in less difficult conditions, the Baby precisely testifies a situation to say the least dramatic, are flies and not the "in" those things on that beautiful "nose" and we are in 2016.
I am ashamed and I prefer not to say more.
You were very good, again a nice document. Forgive my outburst Annamaria.
A greeting
Maluc

Maluc, my friend, I fully share your thoughts. I go quite often to Egypt, because it is a land that fascinates me, and I've seen shows, to say the least, pitiful. Edfu, a town that hosts one of the best preserved temples, is full of poor, poor people ... children will chase each other all the time, for a piece of candy, a chocolate, and some change. Excavated and emaciated faces of men and women, sunburned and thin for many digiugni. In recent years, thanks to a well organized tourism, is beginning to see a slightly improved situation, unfortunately the current events of the war, destroyed the well-being that you trava glimpsing.
Thanks for the ride and the beautiful comment.
Best wishes
Anna Maria
