Dad, but how strange are the photographers? sent on February 24, 2016 (14:11) by Baribal. 53 comments, 2307 views. [retina]

1/60 f/8.0, ISO 400, Napoli, Italy.

With the scaleo I photographed all of Amsterdam, not having the Shiftable (then) it occurred to me that the scale was the only way not to have all the photos with falling lines of the buildings; the publisher was very happy with my photo shoot.

Yes, white people are a little bit gone, but the sense of this picture and the particular time that is within the upper hand and they are perceived, beyond your words. very nice for me.

Good evening, a technical question. There was talk of burning sky. Yesterday I ran into a similar situation where I had a part of the shadow scene and the other with full and almost backlight (cloud-filtered light). In the various shots the camera showed me the completely burnt sky or completely black shadows.
How do you behave in these situations? Braketing then making a HDR?
Greetings.

Baribal, you're the author of the photo (nice the same as I am concerned), with the hint of what would you do to avoid that white sky?

Doing a double exposure in these cases is not always easy, probably considering the excellent recovery capability of the nikon d610, I would have exposed the sky and open the shadows in pp.
