Yes... I don't really mind using the 105 for portraiture as well as macrophotography as well.
Always it should be used considering the reduced depth of field (see in fact that the MAF is limited - by choice - to the eyes despite an F/5) and even in the development of the file the resolution that tends to highlight, in particular, the imperfections of the skin. ;-)
