(Varanasi, India) - Ho incontrato quest'uomo nell'ashram delle mucche lungo il Ganga a Benares, in cima alla scalinata che porta al fumoso ghat di Manikarnika. Sedendomi a sorseggiare il mio chai quotidiano, ho ammirato per un pò i suoi gesti. La la sua dedizione. I delicati movimenti delle sue braccia magre ma forti. La danza di quelle dita sottili bagnate dal nettare bianco e la cura delicata per i suoi splendidi animali. La semplicità e la purezza di gesti che, ancora una volta, mi ha fatto sentire il calore che spesso questa terra ha saputo regalarmi.
