My reasoning behind the 'bird was relaxing (seeing the typical pose) at that time and you have to approach with calm even if I was following. it is not at all easy to photograph at 1/50 sec. and then free-hand, you did a wonderful picture ... not in full nature but close to roads, beside rivers or places where even passing people can also observe birds that relax and do not shy away from people. I include a few species in this very beneficial phenomenon for a photographer .. is often the time for a picture crisp and clean.
For me the photo is perfect!

dietro al mio ragionamento l' uccello stava rilassando (vedendo la posa tipica) in quel momento e ti sei potuto avvicinare con calma anche se ti stava seguendo. non é per nulla facile fotografare ad 1/50 sec. e poi a mano libera, hai fatto una foto meravigliosa... non in piena natura ma vicino a strade, accanto a fiumi o posti dove passa anche la gente si puo osservare anche uccelli che rilassano e non si fanno spaventare da persone. Includo poche speci in questo fenomeno molto vantaggioso per un fotografo.. é spesso il momento per una foto nitida e pulita.
Per me la foto é perfetta!
