This is one of two young Ospreys hatched at my local Osprey nest this year. This shot was taken about a month ago as they tested their wings at the nest. Now they are flying between 50-150 meters from the nest.

Brian, don't know how I missed this one. WOW! this is exceptional. As you know, these wings over the head shots for Osprey are always difficult because of the shadows. Here you have a great perspective with excellent light on the head. The whole lighting effect on the plumage is outstanding. I'm impressed! Nicely done my friend. Wally
