The gendarme sent on August 31, 2015 (21:41) by Wells. 58 comments, 2092 views.

con Nikon TC-20E III, 1/125 f/5.6, ISO 1600, hand held. Parque Nacional del Este, Dominican Republic. Specie: Ploceus cucullatus

ciao carissimo

fantastic color detachment between the subject brightly colored and warm and soft and delicate green of the surrounding ...
subject beautiful and well taken attention .... and then, with minimal equipment applause doubles !! ;-)

Grazie Paolo e Luca!

Ciao Marco

Thanks Paul and Luke!

In this shot, despite the limitations of the focal length (usually ill-suited to passerines) I was able to benefit from the great confidence of the subject and a few bits of bread that I had placed under the tree ;-)

Right observation on the subject of import, is endemic in Africa and India, also lives in Mauritius, Madagascar, Seychelles. It is told, and believe, that the first samples "African" introduced, not only the weavers, who were traveling on the galleons were the slave trade.
