Antonio Canova: "Il Perseo trionfante o Il Perseo con la testa di Medusa" - E' questa l'ultima foto che pubblico del "Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek Museum". Si tratta di una bellissima opera dello scultore italiano Antonio Canova (1757-1822) che, pare (almeno da quanto emerso da una mia "consultazione" su internet), essere stata prodotta in diversi "esemplari" che differiscono gli uni dagli altri per alcuni particolari. La prima versione della statua (con un'altezza di 235 cm.) fu scolpita da Antonio Canova nel giro di pochi mesi, tra la fine dell'anno 1800 e i primi mesi del 1801 e, dopo diversi cambi di "proprietà", fu acquistata dal pontefice Pio VII che la fece collocare nel cortile dei "Musei Vaticani". Una seconda versione (leggermente più bassa della prima, 220 cm.) fu acquistata, nel 1806, dalla contessa polacca Valeria Tarnowska ed è, oggi, esposta al "Metropolitan Museum of Art" di New York. La terza statua è quella che si trova, appunto, in questo bel museo di Copenaghen. L'opera è "accessibile" direttamente dal bellissimo cortile interno, subito dopo l'ingresso, attraverso una porta che rimane costantemente aperta, ma le condizioni di luce (almeno da un punto di vista fotografico), come è facile immaginare, non sono delle migliori (luce naturale all'esterno della soglia e luce artificiale all'interno della sala). Tra l'altro il museo è "frequentatissimo" e non è per niente facile trovare un momento in cui gli ospiti non siano presenti nel campo inquadrato. Ragion per cui ho avuto non poche difficoltà per scattare questa foto, aumentate anche dal fatto di non avere a disposizione un cavalletto, soprattutto per l'effetto di tridimensionalità che ho voluto evidenziare comprendendo nella composizione gli "stipiti" della porta ed i gradini di accesso alla sala espositiva. Sicuramente non è un'immagine che, qui sul forum, sarà immediatamente riconosciuta come "mia" (il genere, infatti, non è quello "solito") ma spero che il risultato ottenuto possa, comunque, piacere e destare un certo interesse.
