Montalbano Jonico (MT) - dunque...essere nel posto giusto al momento giusto. weekend dedicato interamente al monitoraggio dei rapaci in migrazione, pieno zeppo di avvistamenti di molte specie di ritorno dall'Africa. tra i tanti momenti esaltanti vissuti in questi giorni questo è stato senz'altro il più appassionante: un nibbio bruno che aveva da poco predato "qualcosa" (durante la lotta la povera preda è stata talmente sbrindellata da risultare irriconoscibile) attaccato in massa da poiane e altri nibbi che hanno cercato di soffiargli il trofeo, che lui però ha strenuamente difeso in un combattimento aereo degno del barone rosso! ho ripreso tutta la scena, questo forse è il fotogramma migliore: una delle poiane che in frenata sta provando ad agguantare la preda mentre un altro giovane nibbio bruno sta arrivando da sotto come un missile! - 350 mm., manual focus, singolo file RAW processato con CS5
