Picchio verde (Picus viridis) Le ultime due primavere avevo tentato invano di fotografarlo facendo inutili appostamenti dove lo sentivo cantare, presso formicai, su tronchi marcescenti, ma senza riuscire a fare uno scatto. Poi una mattina di febbraio, nel silenzio più totale si presenta al capanno che avevo fatto per la poiana, siamo stati in compagnia per un oretta poi sempre in silenzio si è involato. Ora ogni tanto lo sento ridacchiare con il suo sonoro richiamo, e so che non sta più ridendo di me
