con Sigma 2x TC-2001, 1/640 f/6.3, ISO 1600, hand held. Specie: Dacelo novaeguineae

Shot take from about 12 meters. This Kookaburra had just taken this grub from the forest floor. They have versatile diet, anything from snails to frogs, lizards and snakes. One of my favorite Australian birds as they have real character.
