Been in Panama for the last 12 days Wally so between taking/editing shots and the last 5 days without internet have not really had the opportunity to be active on the forum. In San Diego for 3 nights before heading home so can start to post/comment a bit more.

Marco thanks for the observant comment. Around this particular urban wetlands there are trails and light poles. they are one of the favorite perches for hawks to get an unobstructed view of prey on the ground. Not ideal from a natural perspective but allows one to walk right under them because they are used to people walking the trails while they hunt from the poles. Makes for an interesting balance of humans and nature. Wally
