La Schlumbergera è un cactus che da noi fiorisce a novembre e dicembre perchè viene dal Brasile dove sboccia in primavera/estate. Si è acclimatata molto bene perchè è uno strano cactus che non ama il sole e preferisce climi freschi. Questa pianta è nel nostro giardino da molti anni, all'aperto anche d'inverno.
