I Savoia, mille anni di una dinastia.Gli ottanta metri voltati in mattoni al di sotto la Galleria Grande, danno percezione quasi fisica della durata millenaria della dinastia e ci accompagnano in un tunnel scenografico che illumina le tappe dei primi otto secoli. L a ricostruzione cronologica si ferma al 1831,alle soglie del Risorgimento italiano, quando il ramo primogenito della casata si estinse, consegnando il regno ai cugini cadetti, i principi di Carignano. L'allestimento presenta i protagonisti e gli snodi di questa lunga avventura attraverso una galleria di ritratti provenienti dal Castello di Racconigi che cita le collezioni dinastiche esposte nelle antiche residenze sabaude.
