Ai Pratoni in effetti non vado nella zona all'incrocio tra via dei laghi e la SP15D (quella più conocsciuta con le grandi distese verdi piene di cavalli), ma più all'interno. Ho individuato alcuni prati con l'erba alta (e molti arbusti) vicino ad una segheria che non sono frequentati e sono ricchi di insetti tipo ragni, mosche colorate, grilli e cavallette (non tanto di farfalle). Di solito quando vado la mattina presto (alle 6 sono già lì) c'è anche una foschia che posa goccioline di rugiada sulle bestioline (infatti la maggior parte delle mie foto fatte in quella zona sono così). Ti mando le coordinate google maps di questo posto: 41.715739,12.745955.
La zona dei castelli è comunque ricca di altre zone proficue per la macro (e non solo) che scopro man mano. Per le farfalle invece al momento risulta più proficua la zona dell'appia antica (e i prati vicini).

For Pratoni in fact I'm not in the area at the intersection because of the lakes and the SP15D (the most conocsciuta with large green expanses full of horses), but further inland. I have identified some meadows with tall grass (and many shrubs) close to a sawmill that are not popular and are rich in insects like spiders, colored flies, crickets and grasshoppers (not a lot of butterflies). Usually when I go early in the morning (at 6 are already there) there is also a mist that pose droplets of dew on the critters (in fact most of my photos are made in that area as well). I'm sending you the coordinates google maps of this place: 41.715739,12.745955.
The area of ??the castle is still rich in other areas beneficial to the macro (and not only) as I discover. For the butterflies instead when it is more profitable area of ??Appia antica (and nearby meadows).

Daniele, molto interessante, il posto con tutti quei tronchi, almeno come lo rappresenta google maps, sono certo che li di ragno ce ne sono moltissimi...una condizione che ho trovato importante nella scelta dei posti è la mancanza di colture agricole nelle vicinanze, penso sia per l'uso dei veleni che fanno e che sterminano tutto ciò che nasce :)

Daniel, a very interesting, the place with all those logs, at least as it is google maps, I'm sure there there are plenty of spider ... a condition that I found important in the choice of the places is the lack of agricultural crops in the vicinity I think it is for the use of poisons that are killing everything they do and that which is born :)

ottima foto, eccellente inquadratura e colori azzeccati. mi sembra ottima anche la nitidezza, anche se io forse avrei stretto ancora di più - ma dipende se con quella luce potevi farlo). sto notando che eri a mano libera: non avevi il treppiede o hai reputato meglio procedere così?
Great photos, excellent framing and colors hit the spot. I think the sharpness is also excellent, although I probably would narrow even more - but it depends on whether you could do with that light). I'm noticing that were free-hand: you did not have a tripod or have deemed best to proceed so?

Questa foto è scattata al tramonto ero ancora in perlustrazione per trovare qualche farfalla e seguendone una si è creata questa condizione, erano ancora attive e non ho voluto rischiare di farle spostare..... infatti sono riuscito a faee solo tre scatti.... ;-)

This photo was taken at sunset I was still on patrol to find some butterfly and following a has created this condition, were still active and I did not want to risk them move ..... in fact I managed to FAEE only three shots ... .;-)
