La tua serie è davvero bellissima, ipnotica quasi.
Questo ritratto mi attira fortemente per una serie di motivi: la scelta del soggetto decentrato a destra è un pò comune nei tuoi scatti ma è intrigante per come la gestisci tu. Colori, definizione e bokeh di prim'ordine, vero che si tratta del canon 135l ma post produzione e manico del fotografo non sono da meno.
La mano che il vecchio utilizza per bere potrebbe essere considerata un errore del fotografo, uno sbaglio da correggere, invece in questo caso inserisce un grafismo alla foto, con la sua perpendicolarita al busto del soggetto che attira lo sguardo. Costringendo a domandarsi se è sua o meno quella mano servizievole.
Il taglio stretto che obbliga a fissare negli occhi il soggetto è un'altra peculiarità del tuo stile. Cosa volere di più da un ritratto?

Your set is really beautiful, almost hypnotic.
This portrait attracts me strongly for a number of reasons: the choice of the subject off-center to the right is a little common in the frame but it is intriguing to how you manage. Colors, definition and bokeh top notch, it is true that the canon 135L but post production and handle the photographer would not be outdone.
The hand that the old uses for drinking may be considered a failure of the photographer, a mistake to be corrected, but in this case insert a graphic style to the photo, with its perpendicularity to the torso of the subject that attracts the eye. Forcing you to wonder whether or not that is his helping hand.
The narrow cut that forces you to stare into the eyes of the subject is another peculiarity of your style. What do you want from a portrait?

domenik secondo me non è un normale ritratto: non è comune vedere ritratti con gente che beve, ha una espressione molto forte, ed i colori del vestito richiamano un pochino le tonalità dello sfondo.. può piacere o non piacere, ma definirlo normale mi sembra riduttivo.. con questo non voglio dire che sia una bella foto... ma comune non di certo!

domenik in my opinion is not a normal portrait: it is common to see portraits with people drinking, has a very strong expression, and the colors of the dress a little reminiscent of the tone of the background .. may or may not like, but it seems to me to call it normal reductive .. this is not to say it's a nice picture ... but certainly not common! grazie masso per l attenta analisi e piacere che ti piaccia!
