, 1/1600 f/8.0, ISO 400, hand held. Specie: Buteo buteo

I do not want to go against ... though.
The maf is great, the colors as well as the "general technique." The subject and its location are wonderful.
But on his head and on his leg I think I see an excessive work in pp which makes it very unnatural and artificial imho, probably due to an attempt to recover sharpness. I can see it from both home and office.

It is still a good picture.

with the passage of the analysis and Angelo! :-) I increased the contrast selectively beak and leg to recover as much as possible the details of "closing" of the bill and the scales of the legs (which were barely visible on the RAW) for the eye instead the effect "mascara" is natural, is outlined right, I did not apply sharpen selective

Now I see ... now I appreciate.
I saw a Marsh Harrier twenty days ago in Pignola was far away and I have not been able to tell if male or female.

Even if you see a little 'too much contrast in some ways is a good shot and the subject is very nice. However, it is impossible that the marsh harrier has twice as large as those of the buzzard: the size of the body in the practice of the same, while for the wingspan of the marsh harrier exceed a maximum of 10cm that of the buzzard.
Congratulations for the shot!

with the passage Marco :-) This is one of my first shots of birds and was "beardless" as both post that as knowledge of birds:-D ;-) even if the bird in question regularly attends the lake where I usually and is particularly impressive :-)
