1) non fare l'errore di considerare INESISTENTE ciò che tu ignori, sono due cose diverse, credimi;
2) sul fatto che " non ci sono studi in merito " sei stato molto ma molto sfortunato, semplicemente perché 21 dei miei 33 anni di vita professionale li ho dedicati proprio alla ricerca in campo neurofisiologico, con particolare interesse proprio per la retina quindi ... scusami ancora ma ... ti consiglierei vivamente di tornare al punto 1) e rileggerlo mille e poi ancora mille volte.

Luca @Barabicu mi interessa molto il tuo contributo. Un paio di volte mi è capitato di fare foto a rapaci notturni, una volta ad un assiolo ed una volta alla civetta con Luca93 appunto. Prima di fare le foto ti posso assicurare che abbiamo chiesto info ad ornitologi e fotografi professionisti circa l'utilizzo del flash e siamo stati tranquilizzati circa la possibilità di arrecare danni ai soggetti. Ora il tuo contributo cambia le carte in tavola e la tua competenza non può certo essere ne ignorata ne sottovalutata. Credo, anzi ne sono certo, che quella che tu definisci "arroganza" sia da interpretare solo ed esclusivamente come scarsa diplomazia di un ragazzo che a soli 20 anni ha trascorso gli ultimi 4 a prodigarsi per il rispetto e la tutela della specie. Aggiungo che gradirei poter avere della documentazione da leggere circa i danni alla retina ed a tal proposito ti chiedo gentilmente se hai il link di qualche documento da sottoporre a tutti nell'interesse dei nostri soggetti.
