Karateka and Wondo. I love nature and animals and I respect them. Always. It 'a week I try to help these young chicks of horned owl. Perhaps because for the "inquisitors" I had to describe it better right away what had happened and said that after days of monitoring are addressed with the help of other people and only after verifying that the smaller were starving for the likely death of the mother we approached the nest. At the time the chicks are alive and well.

thanks Alberto of info, sometimes on the forums, seeing only pictures without explanation, it is easy to draw different conclusions from reality, however, the important that small are well.

It is in fact now as in the title of the other photos I thought were owls, then a more experienced friend of me told me that he had horned owls. But now I have confirmation that it is owls. I also added a description in the caption.
Good night :-)

Beautiful pictures, but it would not be best to take them to a specialized center for birds of prey? Are you sure they will learn on their own to get food?
