Knowledge of the rules, in the eye of the photographer shooting skill; and then they go out photos as well. Since very little.

Personal opinion: if I were to hang, version bn. That color is beautiful but for me it loses its appeal and pdr of which I had little doubts like I wrote in the previous comment for me to become more 'obvious.
Then I think of the colored pp you've committed very little:-D:-D I seem unattractive, dull, for me, you did it on purpose to get more support on bn:-D:-D ....

And I think that in the colored PP you're busy very little MrGreenMrGreen seem unattractive, dull, for me you did it on purpose to get more support on MrGreenMrGreen bn ....
?

Ahahahahahahahah! but I really feel capable of such meanness! :-D:-D:-D:-D
is not, as I wrote, that was the lighting situation at the time, there was only seen the bright sky, and sunflowers are lit only by the sun ... I could give a little more, but in contrast with the BN are unable to go much further because it is the Black and White a vision that goes beyond the reality ;-)

Hello Simon, I too would have lowered the frame to have less sky and more stem / leaf below.
At this point I would see a good cut 3:4 (size ... but I hate when it takes it takes) to cut just one part of the sky and give more importance to the field.
For the rest only compliments and in particular for the conversion b & w that makes the shot much more interesting and less trivial.
Greetings :-)
Hilary

Masterpiece. It was worth the effort. The black and white in this case is very original!

Hello ilario
At this point I would see a good cut 3:4 (size ... but I hate when it takes it takes)

vertical is the only way that I can digest it, so I agree with you although I hate to cut the two black clouds in the corners .. if I then lowered my sunflower was shot in the middle do not think I lost a bit of depth ? and then you know you are a sufferer of third parties! :-| Perhaps the best solution is just that the crop that you proposed.
thanks for your visit
hello, simone

@ Cristian .. what hard work, I parked on the sideline, 8 steps and a hop to jump over the channel and there you have it:-D was then brought her find the correct framing, but as you see you can neverto please everyone ;-)

I am ... one who really like the colors scenically speaking, but I must say that the choice of B / W fits perfectly also because in my humble opinion the sky in the background being a beautiful gray and probably not too busy ... change much vision at least since the end of sunflower on ...
(Of course subjective opinion opinabilissima)
Always good Simone

Excellent conversion and beautiful composizionewow!
In addition to the "protagonist" I love the dark groove that leads to the houses on the horizon that, together, well-balanced and complete the scene! ;-)
Congratulations Simone ;-)

The photo is very beautiful composition, depth, balance; but are overwhelmed by the desire to enjoy the colors of the endless field of sunflowers. Sorry Simon, but I also really like the pictures as well.

I saw it. Yes, I must have patience and wait, if you decide to take the photo with all the sunflowers in bloom. So you've made the right choice Simone in black and white enhance the benefits of this photograph without losing anything important.
Thank you for your response.
Hello, Joseph.
