Il perché è in parte per una deformazione psicologica e in parte per restituire meglio, rispetto ad un singolo scatto, quello che il nostro occhio percepisce. È come se volessimo una esposizione perfetta per le luci e per le ombre, ampliare la gamma dinamica. Ne ero affascinato ma soprattutto fissato.
In ogni caso sperimentare non è male e i risultati sono apprezzabili per cui consiglio questa tecnica per i paesaggi soprattutto al tramonto quando le luci artificiali rischiano di falsare la singola esposizione. Le facevo anche all'alba, ma era pura fissazione.
