Fotografare un cesareo.....una grande emozione.....la ripresa dell'atto chirurgico e della sua ambientazione, concentrando l'attenzione sul frenetico rituale organizzativo che precede l'incisione, ed il successivo, profondo, quasi religioso silenzio,in cui tutti gli operatori coinvolti operano, nell'attesa che venga rotto dal primo pianto del bimbo nell'istante in cui viene al mondo ed ha inizio così una nuova vita. Nel corso della mia professione molte volte ho vissuto questi momenti con grande trepidazione considerando il cesareo uno degli interventi più coinvolgenti dell'esistenza umana ,e sebbene l'esperienza e la mia professionalità abbiano col tempo affinato la mano, mai il distacco mi ha impedito di vivere fino in fondo il grande senso di responsabilità e di magnificenza che gesti tecnici racchiudono. .
