L'abilità diplomatica di Sclopis gli valse due importanti riconoscimenti ufficiali: il servizio Tiffany, opera di Eugène Soligny, dono del governo americano, e la fioriera degli argentieri londinesi Garrard, dono della regina Vittoria.
