per esempio ( faccio mollto brevemente) quando ho detto " Il suggerimento di Gianluca sull'applicare il glow solo in aree selezionate ..."" intendo dire che :
selezioni e salvi 3 maschere per luci, 3 per ombre, 3 per mezzi toni , poi con CTRL+A selezioni la foto completa e con CTRL+ALT deselezioni la maschera che vuoi salvaguardare ( in questo caso le ombre) e poi applichi ad una maschera il soft glow ( o sfocatura) solo sulle luci e sui mezzi toni. cosi' non sarà presente anche nelle ombre dove non è plausibile che ci sia!
spiegato cosi' è comunque stringato e poco dettagliato. ti consiglio di cercare su internet luminosity mask e cominciare a capire come funzionano... poi si tratta solo di sperimentare

Ci sono comunque delle plugin, cioè dei sottoprogrammi dedicati che giraro solo su certe piattaforme (nel nostro caso PS CS5), progettate solo per determinati colori, per esempio ne ho una che lavora solo sui verdi e altre sugli aranci/marrone. Oppure la glow che nel suo lavoro specifico enfatizza anche in una certa maniera i colori predominanti, saturando così l'immagine. E' per questo che certi accorgimenti bisogna usarli con buonsenso (e a volte non basta nemmeno), in caso contrario è facile incappare in pasticciate troppo vistose. In questo caso, il glow è applicato al 30%, se aumentavo l'immagine diventa addirittura ingurdabile, o perlomeno completamente stravolta. Stesso discorso per i verdi e i gialli. Inoltre ci sono delle plugin interessanti per i filtri GND neutri e colorati che aiutano (sempre con estrema attenzione) a chiudere o aprire ombre in maniera del tutto naturale, là dove serve. Consiglio sempre di lavorare in zone selezionate dove è più vistoso un eventuale problema. Cosa che non ho fatto col filtro glow in questa immagine, come ha ben consigliato Gianluca.
Insomma una suite non indifferente scelta a seconda del soggetto, lavorando sempre con gusto e buonsenso, anche se si vuole ottenere delle immagini fantasy! Come l'ultimo EP di Fox79 che, nonostante la non realtà del soggetto, è qualcosa che meriterebbe un oscar della fotografia!
Da parte mia, inizio come al solito con le basi di luci e ombre e bilanciamento dove serve. Poi livelli e una plugin dedicata solo per il rumore (considerato che la mia macchina ne ha tanto bisogno nelle ombre particolarmente chiuse). Dopodiché, se una sera mi gira storto , passo all'utilizzo di questa suite che possiede più di trenta sottoprogrammi, ognuno dei quali "ben addestrati al lavoro".
