Silent spectators sent on February 24, 2014 (13:29) by Gianmarco Schena. 57 comments, 4925 views.

, 30 sec f/4.0, ISO 2000, tripod.

A beautiful night atmosphere with a nice weather pattern. The more technical comments on the noise you han already made them, I still get compliments! Hello

Gianmarco Hello, another photo of great atmosphere with beautiful shades. The noise in the sky and the snow is easily removed so I do not see much of a problem ;-)
Congratulations! Luca

Thanks Luca

simone says I have to study .... to me it is not so easy. I then covering the compression has exacerbated the problem

A photo that got me excited since its thumbnail:-P:-P

I now no shutter noise even more if I imagine that it will be produced and if I see when I look at a picture .... the starboard end up straight in the bin, except for the case of the moon with the pine tree where I did, in spite of myself, a means miracle:-D:-D I just wish I did not remember exactly where I "wrong" fconfuso :: fconfuso:
For the compression even I realize that sometimes the photos uploaded on the forum is not the one that came out of post production, albeit slightly ..

Taking super, congratulations and see you soon, Michele

You've got a very favorable situation for the light, as Simon says if I cut the 4th tree would have been great because it would have eliminated the dark side. It is not easy, however, to frame properly in the dark (I personally do not like it then cut in post). Hello, Dino

Hello Gian! Fully agree with Commissioner!
For the final result, however, tell you that you did a good job because the night is the night:-D ;-)

I agree with Diego, for me, the composition is okay. The scene is very impressive. Since there are virtually no stars have not thought of the long time to reduce the iso and then the noise?

EL Barcarolo VA ...
Gianmarco Hello ... I'll be honest .. I do not like so much. Now I'll tell you why, and fog lights are perfect the effect is well done, but the rest I do not like. The noise did not discuss it, it is probably already good that you've arrived at this level but framing and shadow areas do not go to me. I mean, it is true that the moon was in the middle or thereabouts but there is no detail in the shadows that for me are just black areas. The shot instead because I do not like the 4 trees I do not say to much .. I keep bouncing from one to another and do not know where to look; If I were them I probably would have tried to go beyond the trees and most of the frame area in light ... but this is my photo not your ... The landscape is beautiful bike like the atmosphere, the composition can not find it very effective, that row of trees in the foreground I see it more as a barrier that stops the gaze as an element that has depth, but they are personal impressions about the noise before thinking of removing it is best to try to minimize it in recovery here it seems to me that a large part of the image was a bit 'underexposed thing at night at high iso with the 5d2 brings big problems, if you like this kind of shooting, I can only advise a perspective that you get to larger openings and resort to multiple exposures to give the right light for each zone, at that point with a good file in hand you can search for the best workflow to reduce noise, starting from a situation is not optimal difficult to understand how to move without damage ;-)

Michael Dino Prisma Beppe Gianluca thank you very much Luca Catherine's passage and comment

Point of View: some like others less, I must say, however, that the majority would opt for a cut closer or without a com ... I would say the beautiful trees of different flavors

Noise: I think the answer is much in what he says Catherine from his considerable experience has provided a commentary really targeted: the file is considerably noisy for extreme low light present.
Thank you all for the suggestions and if anyone wants to try to work the file to see what you can actually go out, I can gladly share

I knew that someone would ask me: first I dropped the remote control that has wrought on the ski and snow has opened filling and then the limit was dictated by the 30 'and the' F4 of ' optics. fantozzi style I would say

again many thanks to all, very happy with all these opinions and suggestions

Hello Gianmarco. The scene is very impressive but I do not like a lot of trees placed in front of the valley and maybe I did multiple exposures to give detail to the parts almost black and the right light the rest. Just my opinion ;-)! Hello
