india terrible!!!!!! sent on December 17, 2011 (22:25) by Memy. 43 comments, 2926 views.

at 260mm, 1/40 f/5.6, ISO 200,

Horror, reporting, disclosure of the contradictions of India in a single frame beautiful and ruthless.
This is high photojournalism.

Beautiful blur that shows but does not show. Suggests, but it puts doubt. After reading the description I understood everything, and in my head, the blur is gone, leaving a sharp and dramatic. Beautiful photo reportage. Compliments.

Memy, are a phenomenon. Each portrait is a story, the technical perfection of your photos did not comment either.

The photo is interesting for its "imperfect technique." Creative and original.
On the other account, if it were not for the description, you would have understood very little of the "history" of this photo.
Personally I think that the picture have to tell a story and not instead a story to tell a photo.

Thanks Marsupilami,
I find it very interesting .. a cue

I understand your argument but I think quite differently from you is because I always like to combine the descriptive part of the picture thinking it's a completion, but also because I believe that, in this case, also communicates itself a great drama which is what I wanted expressed.
Personalmene I think it's much more intense and dramatic than other more traditional pictures I took that show the face and well defined, but that do not tell anything more ........... and then it seems a bit 'more respectful of the' identity of the person who has suffered a similar disfigurement.

I personally think that a picture is successful when he talks but it can be even more when raises questions and the desire to learn more.

Memy, the photo was intended to have that effect or "improvised"?
I agree on the drama of the shot and also agree with the issue of respect for the person.

The rest of the speech is subjective. You're right, that makes a photo a photo is definitely raises questions as successful captures attention. The beauty is perhaps leave open these questions so the observer to give an answer. A little 'as in abstract ... I do not know if I explained it well ... hehe. ;)

hello Marsupilami
You are very well explained.
:-)

The 'effect has been thought and tried: it is a bit' that 'I had in mind .....

Hello Memy
Unfortunately my experience, the result of daily work with Indians, lead me to have a review of this people other than yours ;-) However, despite these differences of opinion do you really compliments the shot, you were able to document a practice making it more horrible '"digestible" (forgive the word I did not know which one to use)
Really congratulations
Hello
Faith

Hello Faith,
thank you!

Of course everyone has their own experience and it is normal, especially having working relationships, that the vision can be very different ..
