La costruzione del lingotto risale agli anni '20 e vi sono state costruite note vetture Fiat: Torpedo, Balilla, Topolino, 1100 R, x 1/9 ed infine la Lancia Delta (1° serie). Oggi la pista sulla sommità dell'edificio è facilmente visitabile e luogo per interessanti immagini.
