Many thanks Giamby for your appreciation. Zero noise, this is the beauty of using a tripod. Always painful to carry but no doubt in compensation you get much better results.

Eppure.... eppure c'è qualcosa che non mi convince, non nella foto ma nella situazione. Non so a che ora è stata scattata, ma noi siamo abituati allo sky-line più vivo più vitale of "the town that never sleep" ..... mentre qui è quasi tutto spento... al punto che la torre a tortiglione è quasi appena percettibile. Tutto ottimo per fare una bella foto, certo, dove spiccano straordinari dettagli e contrasti, ma questa mancanza di luci, di vitalità rende un'idea di situazione superata, di una post modernità che forse si addice poco o niente ad una Dubai...... ma si sa che le cose hanno assunto un'accelerazione tale per la quale tornare ad essere il "resto del mondo" è un attimo.
And yet .... and yet there is something that does not convince me, not in the photo but in the situation. I do not know what time it was taken, but we are used to the sky-line deepest most vital of "the town that never sleep" ..... but here it is almost all off ... to the point that the tower twisted is almost barely noticeable. All great for making a beautiful picture, of course, where features extraordinary details and contrasts, but this lack of lights, vitality gives an idea of ??the situation exceeded, a post-modernity that perhaps befits little or nothing to Dubai ... but ... you know that things have taken this to an acceleration which go back to being the "rest of the world" is a snap.
