Ciao massimo

Hello Franco, as you surely know, you have to be sincere in this section. Hopefully not scruple to make your time. I have read those already written and I can not but agree with Carmel; better light would surely have helped. The pdr do not mind, I'd be curious to see it one more shot left putting the waterfall co-starred with the mountain. What do you think?

Hello Max, I am well aware that this section is privileged sincerity and this is what I seek. That we welcome feedback and comments to help me better understand the setup errors and whatnot, and that consequently allow me to improve myself.

That said, the light does not actually help me probably the shooting time was not the best, it was around noon. I think it has also affected the use of the filter nd, considering that it was one of the first times I used it and I would not have made mistakes setting.

I chose this composition because it is a right that left are the "hills" that would occupy most of the first floor to the mountains, leaving only the top of the shot.

Given that even the next summer I recher & ogravand, in those parts, I'll try to look for a different pdr that allows me to make the step following your suggestion.

Thank you for your intervention.

A greeting and good light always Franco 8-)

Ciao
Barbara

The light of midday unfortunately flattens everything. The wb for me is better to adjust the color temperature is too cold so you have the blue clouds instead of white.
To improve the composition and having the waterfall and with a less central pdr that creates a guideline that leads to the mountain behind, I think you should arm yourself with a pair of boots and slip into the water as a fisherman.
From the point where you took, I do not see very large room for improvement, especially if you want to avoid including the hills as you mentioned.
If, as you say, you will return to the scene of the crime ;-) next summer, trying to find the place in a moment with more favorable light (sunrise or sunset) and boots of which I spoke earlier.
I hope I've given you a help even if the landscape is not really my forte (ba're watching pastrocchi that I can combine) ;-)

Thanks Barbara for your intervention and suggestions always welcome.

I will try to follow the advice when I went to the scene of the crime shooting in a different time, I think it will be easier to sunset, and with rubber boots to research, even entering water, a different point of recovery that allows for a more effective compound.

The balance used was "direct sun" was perhaps more correct to set it saw the presence of clouds on the "shadow" but I would not have committed, as already mentioned, some setting error due to the use of the filter nd.

A greeting and good light always Franco 8-)

Ciao
Max

a great souvenir photo to keep. But to make a beautiful landscape picture it takes a light and / or best atmosphere and that hardly gives the light of mid-day.

The composition is great, only if you can pay more attention to not cut various rocks or twigs frame.

I'll be honest Max twigs own I did not realize.

Indeed they are not at all well, I try to clone them see what I can mix and match.

Thanks Max to be addressed and appropriate for your comments.

Saluti

tasteless ... the whole mountain backdrop make the scene alone, the glimpse of nature in the foreground does not make me jump out of his chair ... then personally, I do not appreciate the silky water ...

Greetings
