The shot is just so as you see, I only added a bit of vignetting. Being slightly overexposed shot I have to present the very bottom of the brown (dry reeds in the distance) and in post I pulled down on the white egret. The light that hits it seeped from the reed-bed behind me and bounced on the water, creating the ripples of light on the plumage and warm tone.
I was looking for this situation for a few weeks in the past I had been betrayed by climate conditions.
I take this opportunity to thank Gianluca and Flavio Garnet, who placed the roost last summer.

Lo scatto è proprio così come lo vedete, ho aggiunto esclusivamente un filo di vignettatura. In fase di scatto ho leggermente sovraesposto per avere molto presente il marrone del fondo ( canne secche in lontananza ) e in post ho tirato giù i bianchi sulla garzetta. La luce che la colpisce filtrava dal canneto dietro di me e rimbalzava sull'acqua creando l'increspatura di luce sul piumaggio e il tono caldo.
Cercavo questa situazione da alcune settimane, in passato ero stato tradito da condizioni climatiche non ottimali.
Ne approfitto per ringraziare Gianluca e Flavio Granato, che hanno piazzato il posatoio la scorsa estate.
