E dopo aver seguito le impronte sulla neve, finalmente trovato anche il secondo dei 3 soggetti che in inverno diventano completamente bianchi?chiamata anche Lepre bianca o Lepre Alpina, questo soggetto arriva a vivere oltre i 3.000 metri. Timidus nel vero senso della parola perché se ne stà tutto il giorno nascosta dietro un masso o in qualche cespuglio al riparo da eventuali predatori quali l'aquila, solo all'imbrunire esce dal nascondiglio per cibarsi durante la notte. Il manto di questo soggetto stà per cambiare colore, si possono notare le orecchie e la coda che stanno cominciando a diventare bianche!!!
