Non penso sia cosi difficile fare qualche ritratto di buon livello!!
Ti posso riferire la mia esperienza sul campo che al di là di ogni normale dettaglio tecnico , parte dall' osservazione del soggetto e dalla volontà in fase di scatto di ottenere immagini dalla spontanea espressività. Ovviamente , essendo gli occhi " lo specchio dell' anima" , un ritratto espressivo può riuscire se gli occhi sono espressivi .
In questo la nitidezza è importante ... come fare ? ti rispondo con delle semplici regole base :
Gli occhi devono ricevere un adeguata illuminazione : se naturale , funziona bene una giornata un pò velata
non uso il flash !! - un rimedio economico ma efficace per far fronte a situazione di luce non ideale o per fotografare in controluce è un piccolo faretto a led per uso video-foto ( costo da circa 100 €) . Questo faretto va tenuto non molto distante dalla modella - io personalmente lo tengo in mano - ed in accoppiata ad un ottica 50mm su apsc (uso nikon d7000 equivalente ad un 75mm) mi trovo ad una distanza ideale per riuscire a far tutto da solo - nel caso di ritratti a bimbi ... devi potere continuamente spostare il punto luce ..per seguire il soggetto non proprio disposto a fare foto!!!
Ritornando alla luce naturale - se sei in casa - sfrutta la buona luce di una finestra esposta a NORD - non sarà luce diretta - ed in certe ore della giornata - dà una bellissima illuminazione.
Usa un ottica di qualità : ad esempio il 50 mm 1.8 nikon con un costo di circa 200 € dà ottimi risultati - meglio utilizzarlo a f3.2 (in merito alla profondità di campo) - sopratutto se il soggetto non è parallelo al piano focale della reflex.
Importante ovviamente mettere bene a fuoco gli occhi!! io uso il singolo punto centrale di MAF - tengo premuto , per bloccare e ricompongo.
La nitidezza è legata anche al mosso - mano ferma o tempi non brevissimi - con il 50 mm non scendo mai sotto 1/80
preferisco alzare gli iso.
In post produzione ho avuto modo di costatare che aprendo i file con nikon capture - i colori dell' incarnato appaiono più naturali rispetto ad ACR. In Photo shop - necessita quasi sempre un applicazione (con raggio non superiore al valore 1,5) l' applicazione di una maschera di contrasto - magari selezionando solo gli occhi. A volte con lo strumento brucia dò maggiore luminosità agli occhi.
Tutto quello che ti ho detto - non è nulla di trascendentale - sono semplici regole .... se ti sembrano banali allora vuol dire che hai già lo consapevolezza di come fare !!! devi solo scattare ..scattare e ..scattare !!!
