So .... EV is the acronym stands for "exposition value" ie exposure value.
The exposure of the machine itself you already know that is an exposure assessment (basic grayish) and is at a distance.
This exposure is not always correct .... for example, the reflected light of a snowy landscape requires that we adopt the exposure to compensate for different brightness that "bounces" the snow and "impressive" in the sensor. Ciao Roberto, cerco di spiegarti in breve (secondo le mie cognizioni ) di cosa si tratta, ho premesso l"in breve" in quanto il concetto di EV in fotografia è una tematica piuttosto vasta che sono sicura potrai approfondire in modo più completo con letture maggiormente tecniche di quanto sicuramente sarà la mia breve spiegazione che segue.
Dunque.... la sigla EV è l'acronimo di "exposition value" ossia di valore di esposizione.
L'esposimetro della macchina di per sé sai già che fa una valutazione dell'esposizione (di base tendente al grigio) e la fa a distanza.
Questa esposizione non sempre è corretta....ad esempio la luce riflessa di un paesaggio innevato richiede che si adotti la sovraesposizione per compensare la diversa luminosità che "rimbalza" dalla neve e si "impressiona" nel sensore. Se non sovraesponi la neve risulterà grigia....provare per credere! Stesso discorso al contrario se lo sfondo (ad esempio una parete) è nero ossia, per ottenere lo stessa intensità del nero, devi "correggere" la lettura dell'esposimetro sottoesponendo.
Anche nella tua Nikon sotto al pulsante di scatto hai un tastino con il simbolo +/-; tenendolo premuto e agendo sulla ghiera (quella dal lato del mirino) puoi sovraesporre (valori positivi) o sottoesporre (valori negativi) del numero degli stop (o frazioni) che ritieni necessari allo scatto che stai per apprestarti a fare. La giusta taratura, almeno per me dilettante, la ottieni con alcune prove di scatto.
In sintesi, con tale tecnica si fà in modo di correggere la misura operata dall'esposimetro nei casi in cui vogliamo ottenere un effetto particolare (per esempio in questa foto ho ricercato appositamente la sottoesposizione per enfatizzare luce e colori), o quando appunto, come scrivevo prima, pensiamo che la misura automatica dell'esposimetro possa essere in qualche modo ingannata da elementi presenti nella scena.
Spero di essere riuscita con parole semplici e non del tutto tecniche a chiarire un pochino il concetto e l'utilità del tastino +/-.
Ora non ti resta che provare!!!!
